Museum
On the first floor of the Pinacoteca Civica, or Civic Gallery, are permanent collections (temporarily closed) of works by painters from the Follonica area and donations from other contemporary artists. The ground floor rooms host temporary exhibitions of high quality modern and contemporary spanning diverse art genres, from painting to sculpture, photography, installations, etc. During the temporary exhibitions are organized guided tours and workshops for school children. The Civic Gallery also organizes cultural events such as conferences, shows, concerts and meetings.
Activities
Each year the Gallery presents an extensive calendar of Exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. During the exhibitions, it offers guided tours and educational workshops for schoolchildren. The Gallery also organises cultural events such as conferences, shows, concerts etc.
