The exhibition "Here is famous Vetulonia, Vetulonia mater!" Old excavations and new stories by Isidoro Falchi in our days. Exhibits are exhibited that tell the story of Vetulonia in the twentieth anniversary of the reopening of the museum and in the 140 years since the arrival of Isidoro Falchi in Vetulonia, whose name the building in Piazza Vetluna bears and to whom we owe the rediscovery of the ancient Etruscan city, this project is conceived as an unpublished tale, in three episodes, of the collection, of the archaeological excavations and of the research projects of the museum and of the territory, declined in the three acts dedicated to the Past, Present and Future.
Among the finds exhibited to the public, many come from the deposits of the Regional Directorate of the Tuscan Museums and the competent Archaeological Superintendence, which is responsible for the temporary loan of precious metal and ceramic objects that tell old and new stories about Vetulonia.
