Rocca di Frassinello: between archeology and architecture
from 18/06/2020 to 31/07/2020
In Rocca di Frassinello archeology and architecture find an ideal combination where the visitor can immerse himself in the spaces born from the pencil of Renzo Piano and, at the same time, admire some treasures returned from the rich Etruscan necropolises of the area and enhanced by the suggestive setting of Italo Rota. We are in the heart of the Maremma (Municipality of Gavorrano), where the cellar appears to be resting on top of a hill surrounded by woods and vineyards. After the closure caused by the health emergency, Rocca di Frassinello reopens to the public with an important novelty. This is the new cultural ticket (cost 15 euros) which allows visitors to focus only on the archaeological and architectural aspect of the cellar.
For those who want to combine archeology, architecture and red wines in the best Tuscan style in a toast, they can do so with guided tours and tastings in the cellar (reservations required), and in this case different solutions are available.
